Default check engine light on

Hey guys,

Need some assistance.

Today I got a check engine light turn on.

I had to code pulled @ AutoZone and they said that spark plug 2 & 4 was misfire.

I am thinking that it can be a bad coilpak and not really the plugs or the wires since they been recently changed about 20K. Anyone here know if that can be the problem? I have 130K miles on it. From what I know, itís the original coil pac.

Thanks for any suggestions.

you don't change spark plugs wires on cars with coil packs. if it does have coil packs swap them left to right and see if the problem follows, if it follows change the packs

Your WRX has coil-on-plug ignition with no wires, however the OP has a different setup on his LGT. The NA engines have a single coil pack assembly on top of the motor with wires going to the plugs.
Anyway the first thing to check is the towers on the coils, the terminals should be clean and shiny. If they are corroded they should be cleaned, also the coil pack should be checked for cracks or signs of carbon tracking. If either of those is found the coil pack must be replaced.
