Nice! That strut brace just MIGHT clear my intercooler, I've been looking for one that would . A little lower and that car would be damn sexy. I have the same wheels, they look better on my bugeye , but your scoop scares the crap out of mine

Clean rex...nice assortment of mods. Def needs to be dropped, but the front lip makes it not as bad!

What are your opinions on strut towers and shifter bushings?

What top mount do you have? I have a TurboXS, the biggest size wise, i think APS is the same dimensions, and the cusco clears it

Looks very nice!!
SPT is too raspy for me! I am trying to find a different cat-back.
WRB FTW!

Two Questions:
- Where did you get the lip from? (Mach V)?
- How hard were the shifter bushings and do they add more noises?

I have prodrive springs on my '07 WRB WRX and I love them!

Thanks for all the great comments.

My strut towers were only slightly noticeable, but definitely make the car feel more solid over bumps and such. I think they will make more of a difference with some more suspension work.

The shifter bushings are a must with any short shifter in my opinion, they are easy to install (about 15 minutes with the right instructions - scoobymods.com) and no, they don't make any extra noise.... just better feeling shifts.

Right now I have only the stock top mount, but a larger one might be in the plans for this summer - Poekin, I was thinking about the APS, thanks for confirming that the Cusco clears!

The front lip IS from Mach V, the finish is just ok, but the fitment was great and install didnt take longer than 30 minutes or so with a friend helping. I did drill in some extra screws where it would sag VERY slightly and to give it even more stability.

Tint is DEFINITELY on the schedule for when the sun begins to bake the car regularly - like a couple weeks probably - no doubt about that.

Now, for the springs... SHOOT! I thought they might have discontinued the Prodrives for the 06-07, but didn't want to believe it. Anyone selling a set?? I don't want a drop that is too low or sags. I don't want jarring springs that are too harsh or bouncy. Any other options I should be considering??? Thanks.

at the moment, I have a stupid-big eBay type, while I save up for a nicer one. I got such a smokin deal I couldn't pass it up, but it's been nothing but headaches. Even if it clears, I worry about it hitting when the motor moves.

I hate to be blunt, but the car still looks like dog balls. My advice, go Jido, or go home.

Nice 06! i have the 06 WRB as well! Don't you just love it! I see you did the intercooler hoses. Just wondering if you saw any imporvement with them. Is it necessary to get a tune after the intercooler hose mods?

Haha, wow Jeff, brought this thread back from the dead.

Updates include:
- Full Cobb turboback
- Mach V Springs
- Cusco rear stabilizer/diffuser
- 04 STi BBS w/ Falken FK452s
- Protune @ HB Speed (235awhp/300tq)

And yes, choiboi, the intercooler hoses are great. A bit more sound from the turbo, better flow, better looks, etc.

I guess I'll post some more recent pics haha...

I'm in the center...
