Default drivetrain fluid change..?

My 07 2.5i has been sitting in my garage since october, but it will be delivered here sometime around next month. I was wondering if I have to change all the drivetrain fluids like tranny, center diff and rear diff before I start using it for daily driving.

By chance what will be delivered "here"? Having the car shipped over seas? As long as someone has not been adding water to the driveline or the ship that is shipping the car hasn't sank then I would say no you would not have to change the fluids. How many miles are on the clock? If the fluid is factory fill I would switch them all out ASAP anyways with a good synthetic.

Yup, the car is being shipped over seas. 17,000 miles on the odometer.

So what kind of synthetic oils do you recommend?

I've been keeping an eye on royal purple, but I dunno how that'll affect the tranny since it's so touchy.

I like and use Amsoil's Severe Gear fluids, 75w90 or 75w110. I do not know what the availability of it would be outside the US though I'm sure they will ship it to you. If I had to use another brand then I would go with Redline, Motul, ELF, then what ever you can get where ever you are.
