Have you cleared and painted the headlights yet?
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384488 Super cheap, free if you don't paint. But I'd recommend painting the chrome 04 housings with some black paint... |

Haha try posting in the local threads, or if you have any local subie forums, often times people (at least in my cummunity) people bend over backwards to help other subie members out. Im sure someone would love to help you bake ur lights. Also, probably the best thing you could do for 50 bucks is paint your wheels, and maybe brakes! Heres a few shots of my winter stockers that I did.

The only thing about the DIY lip, is that its fairly difficult to get it to look decent on an 04/05 that have the STi side splitters. Looks kinda funky because the lip will bend down where the splitters are...

+1 on the black center console and painting stock wheels. Well for minor detailing you could paint the rear tow hook. How about LED swap for interior lighting, LEDs for the license plates and parking lights (I prefer warm white colored LED's but some prefer the bluish ones). Chrome door handles from a sti. You could get some model paint in the color of you gauge needles and put minor accents where ever you see fit, e.g. the small rivets on the window buttons. There are a lot of little things you can do for under $50.
