What did you guys run? I really didn't want to go because I know I will end up running and I don't need the cost of replacing a transmission right now... Last time I went I about blew it. 1st gear has never been the same

Fcken Herardo got a 12.9 @ 107 with his... It can do better though. I ended up getting a boost leak and couldn't pull more than a 13.8 @ 94 with mine. It's fixed now, so hopefully it will be in the same range. Kevin got somewhere in the 14s. Chris, Hong, PJ and Mike did not run.

Got back from racing at lake afton all weekend....
I won my races both days and wrapped up both points championships.

do you guys ever meet up on the weekends and do installs or anything?

2 hours is a lot to drive for donuts on a monday night.

next weekend I am probably hitting the dunes unless i am shipping calves. goddamn work getting in the way of my play time.

Wow I don't understand why I don't get updates to this thread. I wish we would meet up to do installs, even though they wouldn't be on my car . Gonna try to make it to the import drags to watch. I also live in constant fear of my tranny.

Alex do you ever sleep? jk LOL We definitely should have an install meet. I'm always willing to help if i can. We just need to figure out who's garage we are going to use. Sorry but I don't have a garage. If someone cares to volunteer their space, please feel free to do so.

Anyways, once we figure out a time and place, we need to see what kind of parts everyone wants to install.
As we all know, some installs take more than a couple hours.

I have done a tranny swap before. I'm not a tranny guru by any means though. I'll help out if you can find a time to do it on one of these weekends. Tyler, the Fusionworks drag is on October 16th, but Ray will be going there with Jeff and me to test and tune this weekend.

Update: Dragstrip will be closed because the crew will be going to Topeka for the ET finals. So I guess, Ray, Jeff and me will be going to the track on Sept 25 or 26.

I'll be building a shop this fall or next spring....with a lift. It originally started as a 30x40x14. The building wasn't too bad, but the cost of concrete has skyrocketed since I last looked.

Shop plans 2.0 call for a 24x32x12 shop. 12 foot ceilings will still clear a lift, just not with a lot of room to spare.

When I get it built, I want it to get used!

I've been around that track so many times in a kart, both directions but never been around it in a car.

Well...there was this one time Don took me for a ride around it in his Ford GT. second gear at that.

Hopefully....depends on how fast the exhaust shop can get me in and out. And assuming there are no issues with anything else

and john, im sure you can still run even with a stock mid pipe. you may be short 30 hp, but you can still get that seat time.

just wanted to remind everybody about the rallyx, saturday october 3rd at the state fairground overflow parking lot in hutch. http://www.wichitascca.org/RallyX.html

oh and banzai, i just mapquested sun city. its not as far away as i thought, but you are right, a little far for donuts come out to the rallyx though, there was a pretty good suby showing last time. i expect more this time. you dont need to run, but its a good time watching what our cars were intended to do!

Rally cross sounds pretty awesome. Between shipping cattle, business trips, out of state meetings, etc, etc...I am going to try to get up there and watch. I can be in hutch in about an hour and forty minutes.

There's no way I would run though, my car is pretty low. I mean ricer low.
I don't think my KDW's would do well on the dirt either.

I can crash at her place if there's something late on a weekend. If not, I guess I can drive home late at night.

I hate driving my car at night. With a FMIC and all the deer around here I am pretty paranoid about nailing one.
