My protune map is also from Clark Turner. As far as i know there arent really any good subie tuners around Wichita.

I'm running an ECUTEK, but it's running super rich so I'm getting <10 mpg, here's a pic of my car in case you've seen it, by the way I'm from Bel Aire, KS (NE Wichita), oh and i'm ready to be flamed for my enormous picture.

225/50/16's mods are when I bought it: vf34, fmic, full 4" HKS exhaust, HKS intake, Tial 50mm BOV, the grill is actually just aftermarket badgeless, I've got the stock in the trunk, only problem is I need to get this beast tuned so I can actually get decent gas mileage and more power, it's keeping up with vette's right now but I'm guessing I'm losing about 50 at the wheels with how rich it's running

your spool has to suck with a fmic and vf34. why 4" exhaust? tires just look wider than that for some reason, thats what my winter rims have also.

if you think it's huge you should see the muffler, any suggestions on getting it tuned? running ecutek by the way, it's usually fully spooled by about 4.5k rpm maybe 5k

I would have Clark Turner tune it. Or there is a tune going down soon with some of the local Subie guys going on a road trip.

ya you'll like the traction part, especially when it snows, lots of fun to be had. i'm done for a meet also. your gonna have to take it somewhere and get it tuned prolly. don't know how they tune ecutek but i'm sure no one in town does unless fusionworks messes with it. if you had a top mount you'd spool faster, fmic's are for big hp cars and that thing is prolly just slowing you down, just my .02

actually called fusionworks earlier today and they don't, they said they'd look at it but I'm kind of cautious when it comes to someone looking and not knowing, as far as the front mount goes, my goals are for big #'s later on so I guess maybe it might be hurting a little now but later maybe not? dunno, =/

i have heard fusionworks is dabbling in subarus but i wouldnt go there for it... clark is the way to go in my opinion. 150 for an email tune, just flash datalog and send the results. or you can go like trippin said to stl for jorge to tune it on a dyno

how big of numbers are you going for? there are still better alternatives, even when you are running a big turbo

It will have to be a Ecutek licensed tuner. Their EM is locked down.

That FMIC is definitely not helping you out any. You would be much better off with a TMIC on a turbo that small. On a 2.0 you should have full spool by at least 3500 or sooner.

Are you sure that HKS is a 4" exhaust or are you just talking about the tip? I am not aware of them making anything larger than a 3".

May not be exactly 4" but it's bigger than 3" we had my little bro's 5.0 mustang up on a lift next to mine with dual 3" exhaust and mine was noticeably bigger, the muffler is unnecessarily big. so where's the nearest ecutek licensed tuner? OKC, STL, or KC?

AFAIK APS is the only company that makes a exhaust bigger than 3". All HKS are 3". But their canisters are big as hell. Is your canister stainless or carbon?

You shouldnt be bothering with Fusionworks on any Subaru stuff, nothing good can come of that. I dont think there is a Ecutek tuner in KC or OKC. I would hit up Clark Turner. Or there will be 2 Ecutek tuners in StLouis when we are there in October. I believe there are still openings for that tune.

Ok, I'd be down for St. Louis in October I'd just need a date, and who is this Clark Turner? I'll go measure my exhaust tomorrow in the daylight.
