Default Programing key fob

hey guys long story short, I was on a trip and lost my keys, had spare key at home no key fob, my friend gave me his from his 05's wrx i have an 06' how do i program it to work on my car? thanks!

check the owners manuel that came with your car,the instruction are in there on how to reprogram it.

yeah, i tried the whole procedure but the fob i got was from an 05' the 2nd digit is a 0 and then followed by letters... doesnt say anything about letters
