2.5rs problems. Press clutch in, gas indicator drops, check engine light pops on?
Hello, this is for a 2000 2.5rs. Only mods is an intake and exhaust and suspension.
The problem: This has only happened twice, but seemed to sort itself out before we could get any code pulled. She would come up to a stop and press the clutch in. The gas all of the sudden drops to empty and the check engine light comes on. when she starts driving, the gas 'fills' up again. and the code stays. Eventually the code will disappear then nothing of the sort happened again. Until today. Same scenario... as before. I'm wondering if this is a start to a larger underlying problem. Or if i just need to make sure all the plugs are secured tightly into the ecu. Is this a fluke? or should she save up for an STi swap ?
