Default Change a starter on a bugeye?

Ok so does anyone have any experience changing a starter on a 2002 wrx? Or is there a how to already online that I'm unable to find? Mine definitely needs changed and I have not changed the starter on this car yet. Thank you for any help.

I have not changed my started yet, however, all you have to do is

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal
2. Take off the IC
3. Disconnect the electrical cables from the starter, which is located on the driver's side of the transmission under the IC.
4. Unbolt it from the transmission.

Installation is just the reverse. easy peasy.

While you have the intercooler off change the PCV Valve its like a 4 dollar part. Just because!

so i am assuming to change a starter on wrx, i do not have to jack up the car?
