Thumbs down HBL Porsche Audi in Tyson's Corner - FTL!

If they were giving away "buy one get one free" Porsches at HBL, I would NEVER shop there again.

1) They lied to me about my trade in needing tires. I knew they were full of it, but I got a god price, nonetheless.

2) Their salesman promised to send me some things I'd forgotten in my trunk, and I had to threaten LEGAL ACTION to get HBL to ship them to me.

3) They got my address completely wrong, so, as of now, my new car is not legally registered in my state.

HBL is a bunch of stupid goobers.

If you live near them, please hock a loog on their cars when you drive by.
Thanks,

SOTC

I wish I had known you were getting ready to deal with them...I would have warned you!

My experience with them:

A couple years back when I was still selling insurance, before my kids were born, and I actually had money I decided I was going to buy a toy and the Boxster had just come out. As either this or a good used 911 was in my price range I decided to head on up there and give it a whirl.

They could not have been more rude and condescending. And this was on a car that I was prepared to buy right then with a check....no financing needed.

So....I bought a 1997 M3 instead. I only kept it a year but it was a great car and I never have set foot in that place again.

I had the opposite experience with them. Very helpful when I went in to test drive an A3...But then I got smart and bought my STi

I thought I would bring this thread back...as I decided to go back there because the new A4...or maybe S4 is just so nice. Apparently, they haven't gotten any better. I had to track down someone to even talk to about the thing that wasn't busy on a smoke break and then it was simply a hassle for them to let me drive anything other than a base A4.

I now have a beautiful new Volvo S60 R-design and love it. It may not be as fast....but it really is nice and I don't have a loan.
