Congrats to everyone who drove the car. Very good results against some tough competition. FYI there are quite a few pictures of the car here:

Definately had the car rockin, Sean. It was great to see you again and watch the car work so well with all of your drivers!!! Bouncing ideas around was quite useful as well....though I admit it makes it harder for me to keep my car where it is as opposed to building a turbo motor for it and playing in XP with y'all.!!!

I'll post our "family picnic" pics as soon as I grab my camera from out of the car.

Shane, I really didn't need to know that.

Sean report on the car's performance at Nats is too modest. The car deserved to win XP as well as XPL.

There's a long story about why the first run ended up as a DNF that involves a Subaru-powered Porsche making a mess of the finish chute. But the bottom line is that even with the mechanical troubles, the car put legitimate raw times on the clock good enough to win XP Open. I just couldn't put in a clean run when it counted...

Per Schroeder spent a fair bit of time looking over the CBEI, and Rupert Barrington later said GRM asked them to get lots of pictures of the car. Hopefully that means we'll see it on newsstands soon!

Sean, you have a LOT to be proud of in that car.

That's not just any plywood. That's cherry, a very expensive and high quality wood. Bird's eye maple has got nothing on my cherry dash.

Stain it and throw some clear on it. Or just a carbon fiber sticker!

Heh I could use some CF parts, like a rear bulkhead panel, and also a center console panel. I stole a piece of CF from another car in my old shop but I think it's too small...

You guys are crazy.

I'm in for one set (price dependent of course).

What can I say- it takes one to know one.

Technically, wouldn't plywood be a carbon fiber material?

I just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to SpeedHAM for letting me drive the CEBI this weekend. Incredible doesn't begin to describe how this thing drives.

I ended every run with the biggest smile anyone's ever seen on my face, and about half the time laughing my ass off at how ridiculous something i'd done on course was. it was easily the most fun I've had all year autocrossing.

Want some cheese for that whine?

I drove by directly before this happened. you weren't there....and I never saw your car stop by our place!

gawn: The spoiler was for E Modified, which doesn't allow "wings" like XP.
