Default a bit frustrated with the suby

So i drive a 2004 wrx and ive noticed some oil on my driveway after my last oil change, it appeared to be coming from the filter so i replaced it and it is still leaking. So I took the car down to subaru and they said that it looks to be coming from either the oil cooler or the cam seals. now, the car only has 78k on it and they want to do the cam seals and timing belt. isnt it a little early for this? and what would cause the seals to leak so early? the car is very well maintained and is never really beat on. the dealer quoted me $500-600 for the seals and belt, is this a fair price or should i look elsewhere?

They are replacing the belt probably since they have to take it off anyway. Seals do dude...you are just unlucky. And is it a fair price? Fair is fair to YOU, I can't say what is fair, heck if we knew where you live (AKA fill out your profile), someone might have a better idea.
