I am not sure, I don't know a whole lot about tuners, like I said I never intended to use this thing... I still haven't been able to de-wire all of the stuff that was originally used with the tuner/utec, I would have to check my car for that one... if you could tell me where the O2 sensors are located on an 02 wrx, I could locate it (if it is on my car) and tell you what sensor it is...and if it is on my car and I am able uninstall it myself, I will include it with the deal for no extra cost...

The O2 sensor for the Tuner is probably installed in the downpipe, either right after the turbo or further down. The harness is the easiest way to check what kind of sensor it is - if the wiring harness/O2 sensor plug is 2 rows of 3 pins, its the VW sensor; 1 row of 6 pins is the Bosch sensor.

yes please do. what you find out can have an impact on the price you get for this. the VW sensor is only about 60-70 bucks but the cheapest ive found the bosch sensor is 120ish shipped from rockauto.com

Since the sensors go out every couple years most buyers will probably want to buy a new sensor for peace of mind.

Technically, they're both Bosch sensors, as they're both made by Bosch. But the VW sensor is used in VWs, so its called a VW sensor. There was some talk of the Bosch sensor also being used in some Cadillacs, but I don't remember if it was ever found true.

Ok so I can't seem to find the O2 sensor...and anyways, I would probably not to take it off because I don't want to mess with it and its not hurting my car... in fact, I need my O2 sensor if im not mistaken...and you mentioned someone would want to buy a new one anyways... so back to the point...

I am selling my tuner as is, I do have a cable that plugs into a tuner and into a laptop... its just a standard cable... pics coming... but I am lowering the price to 220 obo

the turboxs tuner would have been hooked up to an aftermarket o2 sensor installed on your dp, not the one that is pre-turbo.

Since the cable harness from turboxs costs 100 dollars and and the sensor is 106 I will give you 14 dollars for the Tuner.

lmk.

I have already taken in account the fact that I don't have said cables, which is why my price isn't more like 400...

Your best bet is to let someone take a look at your car and see if the other wiring is in there and easily removable (it should be, the only things that should be hardwired in are the power and ground). I'm going the softball game tomorrow, so I could take a look at it then, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes and you can be on your way.

Used Tunas with good sensors typically go for ~$200, so I doubt you'll get anywhere near that without the wiring and sensor. I paid $125 for mine with no sensor.

Hmm, yea, but I have been searching on NASIOC and seeing used tuners w/sensors for 300-400... which is how I priced mine...

Anyways where is the softball game and what time? I would definitely appreciate the help!
