Default STi heads on non avcs ecu??

The set-up i will be running will be an ej255 shotblock with 2007 sti heads with portwork and yet to be decided cam specs.

Which cams can i use if i do NOT want to get an AVCS ECU? Do i get 257 spec cams or 205 spec?

Im really confused here

Some help would be great!!

You can use just about any stock or aftermarket non-avcs cams. Of course the avcs would be non functioning with any cams, avcs or not.
