EJ18 teardown - alternator, TB, intake, grounding kit, etc.

The engine itself is dead, the block started separating and a bolt on one of the timing belt tensioners sheared off. There's still usable pieces on the engine in case anybody wants them. All items have 132K miles on them.

Throttle body - ***SOLD***

Alternator - $40 shipped or $15 local pickup

Intake tube - ***SOLD***
Intake filter box w/nearly new filter - ***SOLD***
Both - ***SOLD***
MAF alone - ***SOLD***

'93-'01 AWD front axle non-ABS - $20 local pickup only (dropped from $30)
This is a brand new unit that I tried to fit on my FWD Impreza. It has some scuffs and scratches on it, but it has never been used.

Homemade grounding kit - ***SOLD***

If there's anything else you need off my engine let me know, and I can probably pull it for you. I'm located in Lutz, FL if you want to come by and pick something up, I'll work with you on the price. PM me with any questions, offers.

what extra points did you have grounded on the 1.8?

The yellow circles are the grounding points. Those 4 extra grounds did make a difference in smoothness and engine response. Nothing major, but worth the time and effort.

looks like strut <-> engine block <-> neg batt <-> strut
if i got that right? looks like a cheap yet effective mod. i'll have to check it out
