Default i need help with my 98 legacy gt!

hello guys, im having 2 issues with my car......(the first one im sure is just basic car knowlege which i have none of, and the other is i guess more subaru related.)

1) if i dont drive my car for 3+ days it dies. now i have a brand new battery and i had the alternator checked and it is fine. where should i look to next?

2) i guess my subaru has a safety feature that any time you connect or disconnect the battery the hazard light clicking noise goes off until you switch the keyless remote on and off. well i just lost my remote recently so this clicking will not stop now under the hood it reads that another way to shut this off is by pressing the ignition and enmergency shut off button which they say is under the dashboard. now i can not find this button under my dash to save my life. does anyone have any idea what i am talking about? thanx in advance you guys always mannage to pull through.

The emergency off switch "might" be the alarm reprogrammer button (don't quote me) and if it is it's behind the hood release lever.
As for your electrical gremlin, at least yours can sit for over a day, mine won't start after a day of sitting. I haven't disconnected the negative cable yet and run a test light/ volt meter to it and started pulling fuses. That's your best bet to figure which circuit it's coming from then tracing it from there (lot's o fun). Good luck.

For your first question, I would take an ammeter and with the car off, see how much draw you are getting off the battery. Perhaps you have a short circuit that is draining the battery. If you do, you just have to find out what it is. You can start troubleshooting by pulling fuses and see when/if it goes away.
