At the time...she was one of the lowest NON-PREMIUM wrx's. Not sure anymore

Finally, after 2 years...i got rid of the flames. Someone keyed her down the fender and door on the passenger side.

Rolled the fenders...just in case. Ended up lowering her another 1/2" all around.

Shipyard photoshoot after the drag strip.
Ran an 8.68 at 89 in the 1/8th mile

First HPDE Track Day at Carolina Motorsports Park. I was only passed by one car out there...a freaking Z06 Corvette. I did end up passing a C5 corvette...but I think that was mostly the driver.

Then things took a turn for the worst...the rod bearing defect claimed her at 24,000 miles. I was crushed. Thankfully Subaru of Charleston understood the defect and helped me get a new motor.

New motor fully assembled after the 2nd try. After all the fighting, I eventually got all new parts. Subaru of America was determined a short block would be enough. Turns out, she had slapped a valve in the process, so everything is now brand new.

After a couple months...all is good.

A few recent shots from random photoshoots...

Took 2nd in the sport compact class at a car show. Lost to a vintage 280z...and didn't feel bad at all about it.

Old photo...but still a nice shot.

New lip...

Next week i'm ordering some 245/40 Dunlop Direzza star specs for added traction. Maybe a rear swaybar and endlinks and replace the front sway endlinks. If i get serious with the trackdays, i'll be ordering both front and rear strut tower braces. LONG term goal is a 30R and a built transmission. Motor build will come later as well, but for right now, i'm happy with her. Thanks for the feedback.

Meh...i'll just buff them out a little. The red faded too much and the overlays sold are crappy IMO. The black matches the overall theme of the car...to each their own my friend.

that flame job was pretty decent, but it was on the wrong car.

car looks good now, just go back to the red overlays for the tails.

Well...everyone is leaning toward the red tails. Guess I'll start looking for a good set instead of the cheaper ones i had before. Thanks guys.

Replacing simple stuff like sway bars/endlinks. This weekend I'm ordering a set of 245/40 dunlop direzza star specs. Instead of jumping on the stretched tires band wagon, i'm gonna be stanced by beefy tires. (relatively)

As far as the entirety of the car's lifespan, I'm piecing together a garret 30R. Looking to get about 400whp...which will make the transmission fail. At that point, i'm still up in the air about building a bulletproof transmission or swapping to an STI drivetrain. Any thoughts?

I think I saw my STi photobombing in your pic of your first autocross. Lol

It was pretty cool to watch the car transform from just rims and flames to the beast she is now! lol Much better to see her in person though!

thanks for the comments guys

I do have a question for anybody that stops by...
My car has picked up a slight misfire. I checked the spark plugs, since it is a fresh motor and just got out of break in miles. I have seen a motor foul plugs on break-in, but this is not the case. We ended up finding the grounding strap from the sub-frame to the exhaust manifold to be loose. With that being said, we have come to think that it might have hurt the coil pack. Any thoughts?

And for good measure...it rained the other day.

Well...after about a year, it's time for an update. I'm about to photodump...lol.
I got my 245/40 Star Specs

Transmission finally went out...
subaru dealership didn't properly tighten down the pinion shaft bolts, so excessive vibration caused an odd failure of the shifter rod, 3-4 selector fork and my ring and pinion.
