i dont see an device which show the data being logged, you sure it will log without a laptop?

It stores the data into the miniSD unit. You then take that file and view it on any PC.

Will this work on other CAN bus cars?

One of the many functions of the OpenPort 2.0 appears to be full all-make support for J2534 passthru reprogramming. The cheapest current J2534 reprogrammer available appears to be the EEPOD MCS1 and OBD-II cable, which costs $475 + $55 = $530.

Reading comprehension owns you.

dje was saying that, when the Openport 2.0 comes out, the people who bought an AP are going to 1) look silly for spending that much money and 2) get screwed on resale value.
