Default help with mrt's tmic install

just got the tmic from mrt and went to put it on. install would have been really easy if it wasn't for the fact that the top of the i/c hit the a/c line that runs on the back of the firewall. this was enough to make me take it off in hopes that someone out there had installed one of these and could help me out.
the i/c also came with a metal line that is bent into kind of an s shape with a fitting on the end similar to the ens that are on brake lines. does anyone know what this is for? please help.

The metal pipe is to replace the water feed line to the turbo if you are running a VF series turbo, the factory line will touch the front tank of the intercooler.....this new pipe runs from the header tank rubber hose connection to the top water banjo bolt on the turbo.

Air cond. line?? no problem here in Oz

OzWRX,

do you have the mrt tmic or a different type(like bpm, sti, ect...) because my friend has the bpm tmic and it fit perfect but this one just hits that metal line at the back of the engine bay? maybe i'm not doing something right but it's not like it's rocket science or anything.

also, thanks OzWRX for the tip with extra metal pipe. i had a feeling that it went to the turbo somehow but it wouldn't fit with the factory turbo. and i do intend on getting a vf-30 in the weeks to come so this will be a great help. thaks for the info.
