Default Rear wrx brake swap. PLEASE HELP!!!!

just like the title says, im am purchasing a 06 oem 4 pot 2 pot setup and i know the front will bolt on with the bigger rotors, but what about the back... ive been told they bolt right on, and ive also been told they need a rear brake kit, if any one knows for sure please let me know ....

you need a bracket and also a bigger rotor, the 06+ wrx's came with 4 pots front calipers and the same size rotors as in past years but the rear rotors are bigger and the 2 pot caliper will not bolt up without a bracket. so in short if you have just the calipers for the front you can use your stock front rotors; and for the rear you will need 06+wrx rear rotors(i happen to have a set for sale) AND rear caliper brackets, Kartboy makes some. hope that helps

thanx..how much does that bracket usally run for...... so for the fron t i can use my stock rotors...what about lines

for the front you can use the front rotors and lines, i would get the rotors turned before i reinstalled them and flush all the brake fluid and bleed with new fluid for the whole system. for rears, i think the lines can be reused but definitely not the rotor. the bracket is 225 through Tom @ kartboy. they make very very high quality stuff and if anything goes wrong Tom's got your back.

ok so everyone agrees..i can just swap the fronts over and for the backs ALL i need is the kartboy bracket and a bigger rotor???correct
