Default Oil pressure sender

ok so ive done a bit of research and got a prosport electronic oil pressure guage. I know this is probably just personal prefrence. Where would you mount the sender, through the galley via relocation kit or through the oil filter?

My sender leaked when I installed it in the gallery plug; however, it may just be installer -error.
