Default A/C Compressor Q

Hey all, quick question. Is an AC compressor off an 05 STI the same as the one I have on my 03 WRX? My comp took a crap the other day and im lookin to get a used one. Found a good deal on one from an 05. Is there any difference in compressors from the 2.0 to the 2.5??
Thanks guys

Part #73111FE021 02-03 2.0
Part #73111FE040 04-06 2.0 or 2.5
What gives?

The 05' has what they call a "thermal protector" in it. The single wire that your 03' has (the blue one) does the same thing as the blue wire on the 05' compressor (which has blue, yellow, and green/orange wires). But your A/C system does not have the wiring in place to make use of that thermal protector in it (which just shuts the a/c relay off if the compressor overheats it seems). You COULD wire it in if you'd like, just have to extend two wires.

Other than that the only thing I am not positive about is if the fittings are the same for the lines.
