Default problem with EDMs

ok so i have the EDM in my car, and when i bought it, they both worked fine. after the first rain, i noticed that my pass side light wasnt on. so i went to replace the blub, it was still good. took apart some of the wiring, found a bad ground. light started working again. now about a week or so ago it rained again, drove through a puddle and bam, no more light. so today i took it apart, checked and rechecked the wiring, nothing. all the connections were good, the bulb was getting power and its not burnt. so i take the harness off at the plug where it goes into the stock headlight plug, and there was water in there. could this have fauled my harness or the plug? the high beam light wants to work on this side. the filament glows, but very very very lightly. im kinda at a lose for whats wrong.

heres a crappy paint picture of the wiring,

the wiring for the low beam leads to this orange plug thing that clipped onto the back of the headlight. dunno what its for the the wires go into the front of it, the back side is oopen and i can feel two prongs in there. i need help guys

yes, water in the plug can hinder performance of the contacts.

you need to dry everything out, clean the contacts using tuner cleaner and a wire brush.

when u reattach the connectors add some delectric grease, and wrap electrical tape arount so no more moisture gets in

that orange plug should be for the city light.

yeah i have done that. turns out, the freaking bulb was bad. even though the filament was intacked, and the soder at the base of the bulb was good, it was not lighting. after running some conductuity tests and a test bulb ( that worked fine ) we determined the bulb was bad. bought a new bulb, plug it in, worked fine. stupid thing...
