Default Perrin Down pipe for 2008 WRX

I'm think about getting the Perrin DownPipe Upgrade Front Section and DownPipe Upgrade Rear Section for my 5-Door. I have the SPT CBE and want to get the Perrin because it has 2 cats. I shouldn't get a CEL because I will bet using a COBB AP Stage 2. From looking on the forum I don't see alot of you guys running the Perrin. Any reason why you guys choosed the Invidia and Cobb?

Perrin= 2 piece expensive downpipes
Invidia= cheaper downpipes with 1 length

Catless=Will polute the earth but let all restriction free giving you better performance
Catted= May decrease performance slightly. Will not pollute our beloved earth

Even if you were to be getting check CEL (Check engine lights), you could tune them out with the accessport

in my opinon got with INVIDIA!
I have a 05 wrx with fully catless turboback and LOVE IT!

I really like Perrin stuff because their shop is right down the street and the Guy is really cool and layed back so I would like to support the local guy. But the down pipe is one of those thongs that I don't think you need to spend that much money on.(Sorry Geoff)I really think it is best to buy the cheapest one you can find, even used. There is really no difference in power gains between brands and design especially at stage 2 level with the stock turbo. I think the Perrin unit will run you over 600 bucks for both pieces. Aused one can be had for as low as 100 bucks. That leaves you 500 to tighten up the suspension really nicely.
