Default Any guys with BD/BG/BK's that have disabled your DRL?

If you have, please chime in. IIRC only the Canadian spec models had the DRL's. Anyone figure out a way to disable them?

Unfortunately that isn't an option b/c the DRL's use the low beams on the 9007 bulbs. It provides less then 12V when the parking brake is down.

I don't know how the Legacys were setup, but my sister's WRX has a relay on the front of the passenger side strut tower. Unplug that relay, DRLs no workie-workie anymore.

You may be able to follow the wiring back from the headlights to find something similar on your Legacy.

How about instructing us US owners of '95-'99 BD/BK/BG Legacys with instructions for enabling DRL's ?

Turn your headlights on and leave them on all the time. Subarus automatically shut off the headlights when you turn the ignition off.

Warning - you will get in the habit of never turning your lights off again and will accidentally leave them on when driving other cars without automatic headlights

I've had this problem in the past.

I freaked out the first time I turned of my bd and didn't hit the lights and they went off...it was so weird...then i noticed the switch on the column and was at joy that I could still have my lights on with the car off...for those late night encounters...
