Default question about hid

i have always been using piaa bulbs now i want to switch the bulbs in my brother's car and i noticed on ebay the hid converstion kits are cheap compare to normal bulbs are there any brand name thats the best? i dont want to pay the money and have a product will not last me.

i need something that will work 9006 bulb style

super duper do not reccomend using these in reflector style headlights!!!! I would only use them in projector style housings. I have had good luck with the x-light HID kit had it in my leagacy for over a year now.

I'd suggest a non-ebay kit - cuz of warranties and stuff. I had an ebay kit on my Jeep and it blew out a few times. Warranty replaced it, but equally as defective. Now I use Apexcone DDM and love it on my 08 WRX.

as i said this is for an older car which i dont see the value to drop 500 plus in a hid kit this is why i ask which brand is good value thank you steve

check xenonexpert.com for apexcone HID conversion. i have had mine on since november with no probs. yes projectors are better but these aren't too shabby either. i love them!

i was reading online they said the new slim ballast are much more stable is this fact or just "talk" what is the difference between slim digital and the regular one

from reading, there is no "difference" except for the total volume of the ballast. power and capabilities should be the same. email them to be sure.

i tried to look online in other forums some ppl like the regular style some ppl say the slim one is a little bit weak and doesn't last as long anyone here using slim ballast?
