Unhappy Headlight Problems... Any Suggestions?!

The headlight on my 05 rs seems to be out
it is not the actual headlight itself but one of the round driving lights on the corner of the headlight
a friend who took a look it the light believe it is only a disconnection problem
but if it is (will end up replacing bulb anyway).. How do i replace that bulb?
will i need to remove headlight? or is it easily accesible?

if so what bulb can i use? a non-amber colored bulb possible?
thanks heres a picture pointing out wat im talkin bout wit the location of bulb

clear 194/168 bulb is what you need, any auto parts store should have it and yes you need to remove the light, which oly takes a minute or two.

it's gotta be amber...unless there's a yellow shield over it...then it'll come out amber anyway ;-)

you don't need to open up the fixture. should be just a plug in the rear.

its the parking light. mine likes to go out randomly, all i do is give it a good smack and the light comes back on. you have to remove the whole headlight assembly to get to that one bulb. i have yet to figure out how to get it out, even with instructions from the owners manual... im 99% certain i removed all the bolts, etc, and it still wont come loose. the outside edge doesnt want to budge, and im afraid of breaking something.

hope you have better luck that i do.

Guys, you twist the parking light counter-clockwise to get it out.

You have to take the whole light off the car to get to the parking light bulb.

i guess we're talking about getting the headlight out... there's a plastic plug with a metal thing and a bunch of screws, it's probably either not clearing some metal piece or the metal plug is still in.

i was saying tug on the headlight to get it out thinking he couldnt get the whole assembly out. the plug on the back, although im not familiar with it, im sure you have to twist then pull....

tugging won't help if it's not clearing a metal brace or if the screws aren't out or if the tugging is in the wrong direction, it should be straight forward away from the rear of the car. i think we're all on the same page here just getting confused because of words.
