Default Any good Subaru shops in SF? Need 60k service

I'll be doing most of my 60k service but need my spark plugs changed, and random parts inspected

I just had my 30k (06 wrx) done at Mechanica in Palo Alto; found them on yelp... very happy w/ the work. Coming from the Toyota 4x4 world, I don't have a list of subaru shops to recommend.

My girlfriend takes her civic to "the Toy Shop" -- Very Toyota-y (lotsa moded landcruisers and stuff) but I know they work on other makes, too. The owner (I can't think of his name for the life of me right now) is really cool/knows his stuff, and has been taking care of her car for the past 10 or so years. I'm not sure about pricing, but might be worth a call for estimate.

Give the toy shop a call, then check yelp maybe? I was looking for shops in sf and palo alto, and settled on Mechanica, since they're close to my office.

cheers!

for a good independent shop, I go to Metropolitan Motors on Bryant. Talk to Jon Sao. www.sfmetromotors.com (cheezy website, good little shop)

Tell'm Jon Burke sent you. He does all my general (non-suby tuning) auto work I can't do myself. Including the cheapest computer alignment you've ever seen.

I'd make the trip up north to LIC, and let them take care of the ride.

An all-around great shop, with nothing but love for Subies.

Ask around and you'll see what I'm talking about.

We recommend LIC. Good place to go to get your Subie taken care of. If you go during the right time, good food place right around the corner.

Regards,
Gary
