Default Fog light leak

I pulled one of the factory fog lamps yesterday to service the bulb and noticed some moisture and dirt at the bottom, inside the lense.

Warranty item?

Or is this something I could do myself? Separate the lense from the housing, clean-up and then reseal?

i'm interested to hear if anyone has found a way to handle this. because i've even seen people with relatively new hella 500s get water in theirs...of course, this is because we are doing water crossings, but i was planning to remove my fogs in order to pass inspection instead of replacing the bulbs every month to keep them working...
