Default FS: '06 STI Struts

All four strut housings are from an '06 STI with about 22,000mi and the cartridges are from an '04 STi with 55,000mi. In good shape, they take quite an effort to compress and come back nicely. Grease was topped off with Mobil 1 synthetic red grease. Includes everthing pictured, i.e.: no springs or tophats.

Rears bolt to '02-'07 Impreza
Fronts bolt ONLY to '05-'07 knuckles
*Cartridges are interchangeable between all '04-'07 STI housings

$175 + shipping

I thought the 04-07 STi struts could bolt up to any 02+ WRX.

Rears, yes. Front struts on the '04 STi are compatible with the WRX, '05+ STI fronts are not.

Interesting. What part of the assembly makes it incompatible with an 02, is it the threaded end of the shaft?

On the '05 up housings, the bottom part where the 2 bolts attach it to the knuckle is wider and the bolts are spaced further apart to accomidate the larger knuckles on the '05+sti

Damm. Is there any way to get an 05+ STi strut onto an 02?

great deal if going back to stock with your '05 plus STI

If you can find '04 STi front housings, you can use the rears and the cartriges from the fronts on your '02-'07 WRX
