Default valve caps on my car are stuck

i recently bought an 06 sti. i can't seem to get the valve covers off my valve stem on all 4 wheels. i even tried vice grips. what is the problem? they are metal valve caps that say sti on them did anyone ever hear of them getting stuck? please help me i don't know what else to do.

Well, now you know the previous owner did not check the tires often, what else did he not check?

everything else is in great shape the car has 17,000 miles and the previous owner was in his mid 40's. thats why this makes no sense. i even thought maybe some jealous a-hole from my collage glued them on while i was in class.

+1 PB blaster: metal caps + salt roads= another annoyance.

Maybe they are the "lockable" caps?
Like the prodrives?
