Default Colder Plugs

Of what level of tunning requires you to go to a colder plug?

Consider that shiv includes them in his stage 0 kit. They are providing you with detonation resistance. With the lack of weather compensation in the unichip, that's always nice.

None of the dyno plots by turbo xs listed any thing about plugs they did say that the vf-30 dynoed there at 254hp was at 99% duty cycle so I got a pump and injectors. I not looking to be a monster at the strip I just want drive around, and autocross 250 - 260 to the wheels is my goal for what I have. If I find out that it is 100% needed to get plugs to this level I will get them but I dont think it is needed quite yet.

Well plugs aren't all that expensive and I figured if shiv includes them in his stage 0, it must be for a reason, so why not get them? Others with the stage 2 turboxs kit have gone with colder plugs as well. There was a long stage 2 EGT thread not too long ago and someone said when talking to Mark he said you should be using colder plugs with the stage 2 kit. That's second-hand but I'm sure you could call them and they would answer any questions you have.
