Default Cobb APS Stage 2...Is It Worth It????

Has anyone purchased this Power Package APS Stage 2 kit from Cobb? It has a price tag of $4,800.

Is it worth that much, especially if I'm going to have someone else install it for me since I don't live near Cobb?

Can I get equivalent parts for cheaper?

i am not sure that you can get it installed somewhere other than cobb, since they dyno tune the package. If you are not near cobb then maybe you are better going somewhere else for parts but add up all the parts and I am sure that the extra money for the cobb package is easily equatable to the security in their tuning that you get for the experts at cobb.
turbo back- $1100
BOV- $250
CAI- $275
FMIC- $1400
Turbo- $1300
Unichip- $700
Tuning+Security- Priceless
TOTAL $5025

I'm sure shiv can have you running just as good, if not better (with injectors) than the Cobb Stage 2 for less money. You are in Cali, right?

I think shiv is getting 215hp to the wheels with the stage 0 w/cat back and a new unichip map. and that should only run you 1000 plus the cat back.

4800.00 is a ton of cash for what cobb offers, I know is it near oem quality but still... I think you can get more bang for your buck with similar quality.

xfactor834,

I have the APS-Cobb RT Spec system.

It works great for me and I am very happy with it.
