Default I need an Ignitor for my 95 wrx ej20g

Im in need of an ignitor for my ej20g. Its supposed to have 2 plugs and a total of 9 pins. If anyone has one or knows where to get one please let me know. Its the last thing I need to finish my swap

Instead of finding an ignitor....you should take this opportunity to get some WRX/STi coils and wire them in now and save yourself the hassle of the conversion later on. The conversion is something you are going to want to do no matter what with your ej20g.

You bypass the ignitor with this also in case you were wondering.

I'm sure a few people have them laying around after converting to the newer style coilpacks (which you should look into). I'd send you mine, but its back home in California... try the WTB forum and RS25.com

+1 on the WRX conversion.

If your hard up you can also use an SVX ignitor if you don't mind a bit of re-pinning or splicing.

does anyone have the diagrams to wire in the sti coils? its insanly hard to find ignitors unless you go to the uk or japan

the wrx and sti coils (newer style) should be the same as listed in the conversion thread.

yeah that makes sense, they have 3 wires instead of the older ones which at 2 correct? that and the ignitors are different

you dont have to do anything to the ecu, just reset it by disconnecting the battery and hitting the brake a few times.

Well, I searched, but no luck yet... I do have a complete front clip from an 97' WRX in storage, I will check that today and see if theres one there. Keep your fingers crossed.....I will get back to you!
