Unhappy Price of WRX at Subaru of Calgary for real?

Stopped in there today and they had a white WRX in the showroom. It had 1600km on it and so it was on SALE for $34495! Regular price was $36149... Who is paying $1200 over MSRP for these cars? I don't even want to pay MSRP for it... I sure hope I can get some dealerships working against each other cuz I really don't want to bend over and take their asking price.
Anyone on here buy from Subaru of Calgary? What did you pay?

I was quoted a similar price from Subaru City in Edmonton. As tulit said, it's because they're including pdi, freight, etc.
It also included the cost of a block heater which doesn't make sense to me because what car sold in Canada doesn't have block heater.

Well, that's not too bad if it includes pdi, freight, prep, and a block heater... throw in painted side skirts and a service manual and I'd be sold...
The salesman I talked to was very nice, Dale I think was his name. Unfortunately, we were too late in the day to get a test drive (spent too long with the go-karts across the road).

I got my block heater included in the deal. As far as I know, it is not standard.

My '96 Mustang never had one. Never needed it either, that car was always easy to start, even with the large engine. My Subie has complained more this winter than the Mustang did in 6 years.

I wouldn't touch a test driven car with 1600km on it. It's worth it to pay an extra grand or so just so you know it was broken in properly.

I basically got the same info from Subaru of Calgary. So what are some of the prices that people are getting from there? I figure if they wont take the price down then I am gonna tell them that I am gonna go and pick up a RSX type S instead (yea right!!) and then see what they got to say.
