A 99-01 USDM 2.5RS tranny is a "push clutch". USDM WRX's are a "pull clutch" type.

Pull:
WRX's are Pull Types tranny's (except 06wrxs, and 05 LGT's)
Same with the STI's

Push:
All NA Subies are Push
This also includes the 06WRX's and 05 LGTs.

They can be mated up with a little fabrication and switching out. But def. do able
Nothing to hard to figure out.
