Default Trunk Light Trouble?

My trunk light will not turn on? I have checked fuses but none of them are specific to the trunk light? does anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong?

It looks like fuse #2 supplies power to the light for the '04 model at least.

You need to get a test light probe and start checking where power is getting to.

You might also want to check whether the switch (on my 07 it is next to the latch) is not stuck.
