Post hey jerry! whats this noise coming from my car?

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...47163197497751

the engine is not running; you can feel it through the fuel hoses especially in that little round black thingy connected to the fuel hose next to the fuel filter

throws a p0183 code

it won't start anytime it makes that noise and i have to cycle the key from acc to on a few times to get it to quit

I don't know what the noise is but the code is for fuel temp sensor "A" circuit high input. So maybe there is something wrong with the valve?

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1510538

and might be unrelated but a lot of the times when i my turn signal disengages (like just finished making a turn and turn signal is no longer going off) the headlights turn off for a split second...sounds like a headlight relay? related? i don't know

does it do hte funny fuel thing too?

the headlights seem especially bad whenever i've got my high beams on. i brought it into the dealership over a year ago for the stalling problem and they fixed it by repairing a ground point on the UTEC and it no kidding fixed the problem all the way up until now...i don't have a utec anymore though...

Sure sounds like the self test when the green connectors are put together and it cycles through self tests. Perhaps evaporative system? Check the fuel cap (simple) and perhaps the evaporative canister near the rear tire?

So heres some ideas from maddog:
1. Joint ground connector next to the ECU may be corroded.
2. Main relay(Brown) next to the passenger kick panel. Bad connection?
3. Green diagnostic connectors might have shorted to ground.
4. Ecu connector loose, or junk ECU.
Was the key on when it made that noise?
Have fun!

ok got the parts in today, but the car hasn't been doing it for the past 75 miles or so, but i installed the new fuel pump relay and main relay now i am too scared to get on the throttle because with my luck those 2 parts weren't causing the problem and the second i hit WOT at redline the fuel pump will do its crazy thing again

also i but the walbro back in and disconnected the fuel pump and started the motor it ran for a good minute...wtf? when i disconnected the fuel line there was still quite a bit of pressure in it. wtf?
