2.Emo_tactical9 - 240sx - Both Days
3.Brock31 - WRX - Sunday

This is always a fun event. The course is usually pretty fast and the surface is pretty good. It is sort of a PITA getting on the base but its worth it.
I'll be there on Sunday

Well you can register online at myautoevents.com if you pre-reg it will only cost like 35 for both days I believe. But if not then I think it is $20 for each day. So that wil be $40.
Starts Saturday at like 0900. The website I listed above will give you all the information about it. Just make a profile and look up autocrosses for this weekend and around how fer you are willing to travel and it will list all auto-x in the area.

Hey hey hey -- Jusss checkin in -- I was suffering from too much bike week, too much work and too little Subieworld!

Im in for Sunday and also count in RSBoy too!

Theconekillgirl is havin tire issues and is undecided at this point!

Of course THE cat is away and there is a nice FAST 06 Sti in the driveway! She could always put the stickies on and take it for a long test drive! Just to keep the battery charged and all...... Im juss sayin!

Here I am. I have decided not to be at this one because of my tires. I have regular street tires on right now and I am in the process of looking for some r-compounds. The website i wanted to get them from doesnt have any in my size right now.

I also havent decided what class I will be in yet. I also really havent decided if I even want to change classes. So if I dont want to change classes then I need to order some Falkens. (which will use up alot of my money).

And it is my sisters birthday so she is having a party that I would really like to be at.

I really would love to go to this one but so many things arent going well for my car that I am afraid I might not just be into it this time.

Count me in though for June.

Aww come on now I race with street tires and I do pretty good. Now If I did have some r-compunds or something I would be pulling mad time, but I have been going on ALL TERRAIN TIRES hehehehehe. Plus I will be bring out the tactrix cable and laptop to change some map codes for myself and a couple other people.

OMG -- for those of you interested in any of our events -- THIS site rocks

Whats up with the Corvette club getting the most participation "award"?

Congrats goes out to our Subies yesterday! RSboy took a 2nd place in STS yesterday and he beat some "seasoned" autocrossers! (sorry shameless plug from a mom thats proud of her boy!)

He came home yesterday and shed his heavy 17" wheels and tires and has put some 16's on there trying to gain that last .00006 of a second........that and his azenis now look like stickies!

Next event is June 22nd in Lake Waccamaw!

Fun stuff yesterday.
It was nice of Eric to put his stock hood back on so he could compete in STX with me
He stomped me..badly. He is a very talented driver. Funny thing is that if he had stayed in SM he would have won that class yesterday.

I had an awesome time yesterday. I will be making more of them now and signing up with the SCCA for a membership.

Big thanks to anyone who made that event happen.

I did not have any idea that would tear your tires up that bad though, I am currently looking for some ZR rated tires, instead of V (all season). I think that will really help out with the wagon.

How long do you need to run in the novice class before you can move up to the regular STS? I figure you would want to win a few first right? I just dont know how these things work yet.

Great time, and I am looking forward to coming back.

Big props to those Miatas..they are quick, and I now have a found respect for them. They make me car sick, LOL.

I didnt see this event on the myauto events web site. I need to know where to register.

Is there another place to look that has all of our events or has it just not hit the system yet?

BTW, Subies also took 2nd and 3rd in the novice class as well! I think that black WRX also won his class.

I spent most of my time chasing an EVO MR. The gap started out at 1.7 seconds, and after trying out a few different ideas during different runs (and ending up slower) I just went back to what I was doing first of all and cut his lead down to .4 of a second... I think I might have been able to get him if we had another few runs, but I was already on the limit of "Dangerous" coming into that Chicago Box. I remember seeing cars lift off the gas after passing the second double cone. But I was still hard down for another second and then WELL into ABS when I stood on the brakes. But I have to say, I am very pleased at how well the SVX did. It is no where as easy to Autocross Mark's awesome little RS (and I really think that EVO would have been introuble if I were driving that thing yesterday ) but I still had fun, and that's what Autocross is all about... Having fun

Managed to take 2nd in SM with a time of 64.550

Thanks to all who helped make this event happen!! Can't wait to come out there and do it again!! I'll be in school till July 29th though so I'm not sure if I'll be able to commit to it just yet... But I'll try

My first couple of runs were in the 69s than I messed up on my third run so I tried some faster approches and I pulled my final time to a 68.199 and came home second in sts barley beating someone else who was co driving a different car in sts it was crazy

Man Chris you an that EVO were battling it out for 1st. I ended up getting 3rd with a time of 67.874 that is a big time gap between 2nd and 3rd. If only I was driving on some r-compounds or something besides all terrain tire. I would have knocked some time off to make some sort of competition in SM class for you.

I know what you mean. I ran 70.5 and got 3rd, but 1st was a 65.xx (evo8) in the n00b class. Thats a butt whooping. 2nd was a 69.8 I think in a 07 TR. Ironically both of those guys were at my garage the night before changing their oil. Maybe I should have done it too.
