Default COBB short Shifter

Like it says I have 1 basically new 2002-2005 five speed (non factory short shifter)<-important COBB tuning Short Shifter for sale. Little story bought this puppy from Rally Sport Direct came in the mail today opened up the shifter area only to find out I had a factory short shifter linkage to quote the great Homer "DOH!" so here I am selling this because I managed to put a couple minor scraps in it that I know will bar it from return with Rally Sport because they want a new product back and thats fair on there part. I will let this go for $100+3% paypal fee if you shoot me $5 bucks for shipping it will be in the mail priority ASAP I do not screw with buyers as soon as Im payed its in the mail. I will also trade with some one who has the same thing but for the factory short shifter linkage. my paypal is pruenelson@hotmail.com

Well....I received the Cobb Short Shifter from AutoPrue and this is what a "basically new 2002-2005 five speed" shifter looks like.....

Does this part really look like it has a "couple minor scraps"?

I wish Sellers were more honest these days.....
Please don't buy from this guy

it does look like a couple minor scrapes to me, he told you they were there and you don't even see the shifter once installed. I'm as anal as anyone but it not like its a part that you see every time you drive and its not affecting the integrety of the piece.

you've gotta be kidding me does it work? Can you see the scrapes when installed? If yes and no, then I have no idea what you are complaining about.

I'm just giving a heads up to others who might consider buying something from this Seller.

Had he stated the item was "used" instead of "basically new", then I would not have any complaints.

Honestly, do the pictures that I posted look like the item is "basically new"?

The seller said he bought the wrong shifter, because he had the factory short shifter linkage installed already.

The install for a short shifter is so easy that I figured there couldn't be any major damage to it.

Anyways, just be careful when buying on NASIOC, when a seller states the item is "basically new", you better ask for close up HI-RES pictures of the damages.

honestly, had I bought that, I wouldnt be fretting over some chipped paint that will never be seen. As long as it works as it's supposed to, I have no idea what the big deal is.

I cannot believe you put a negative feedback because of these scratches... The guy did say minor scratches in his description...

Tonecold ,
autoprue, described it to a T You have nothing to complain about ( period ) why not just return it if your not happy with it ? OH because your using it . does it work without flaw ? can you see the damaged area ? that I might add he said was there . leaving autoprue a negitive feedback for this is total B.S
