Default Mirror tint -- here's a couple pics on my silver Legacy GT sedan...

This is the "Cool Chrome" tint. I believe I have the darkest that they make in that line, and I have a layer of limo black behind it. Yes, two layers. No, I can't see out of it at night . It's something I got used to quickly though. The funny thing about the one-way mirror tint was how much it changes depending on the lighting. If light was coming through the front windshield, it would look completely un-tinted. Also, at night it appeared completely un-tinted..... so, I added the layer of black which made a huge difference. I LOVE IT!

It is very rare that you can see into the car under any circumstances. Also, because it reflects the surroundings and is silver in color and not jet black, at first glance it just looks like a reflection which I think has saved me from many, many tickets.

Hey thanks!

The only time that you can see through it is if very strong sunlight is coming directly through the front windshield. And even then, you can only see the things through the window that actually have direct light on them, like the front seats. Anything on the floor or otherwise out of direct sunlight cannot be seen.

Most of the time I'm good enough to roll down the front windows if I'm going to cross in front of a cop. However, because it just looks like a sunlight reflection most of the time I think it's a lot safer (cop-wise) than a super, super black tint.

lol holy moly, that's some reflective tint! 5% i assume, and it's hella pimp'n. I got 5% all around but mines black. Lucky for me, the local cops don't enfoce the tint laws unless you are pulled over for something else and you piss them off. I've acutally gotten comments from my neighbor who is a cop about how good it looks

I got it done at Custom Auto Tint in Spokane, Washington. I think it's a fairly common thing for tint shops to carry, but I don't know what company makes the exact tint if you want to do it yourself or ask for it specifically other than by the Cool Chrome name.
