Default Guess who we Recruited as a Subaru Club Sponsor?

After lots of painstaking searching, we now have a full fledged "Rally" tuner sponsoring the Subaru Club of Toronto. Yea, I know he's in Toronto, but the Ottawa and Quebec guys have Lachute, the Southern guys have Cobb, now we've got Japanese-Auto

Check out his web site: http://www.japanese-auto.com/main.html

Things that are currently being tested, or offered shortly:

ECU Tuning - Available in Mid March

Subaru Cams - Factory Fresh and Re-grinds (you won't believe the price and in Canadian dollars too), not posted yet. Currently testing. These cams are between the Cobb Mild and Cobb Spicy, with good idle characteristics. ($450.00 Canadian, intro club price / $500.00 non club member)

Subaru Ported Heads - Currently being tested ($600.00 target price)

Valves / Springs / Internals: Available now upon request

Subaru "Supercharger" kit: Which will take everything into consideration, Fuel, ECU, Timing, etc.

Maxim Works (SYMS): Headers Available now...

Though some of these things are in testing, the ETA for most except the Supercharger is 3 weeks.

More to come...

Finally!!!

Yahoo.....

Thumbs up Okay, that's it!

We need some sort of cross-club affiliation thing going on here! We'll link up all the i-clubs across Canada!

Dang, that's good to hear JoeT!

Not to blow our own horns, but we now have 4 official sponsors. Sponsors are chosen based on "What the Club Members Want" or "Need". In order to become a sponsor, it has to benefit the entire membership in the form of discounts and special offerings, and there are certain $$$$.$$ that must be paid to help out the operations of our club.

In return we offer lots to our sponsors:
Visibility
Exposure
Customer Base
Referrals
Guaranteed Minimum Visibility of XXXXX during events / promotions / races.

The TSC Club has organized groups of teams specific to the genre. If you visit our web site (expertly put together by Jaimak, who's available on contract "Plug") you'll see special sections dedicated to the teams.

This helped immensely in generating the interest required to get the sponsors on board.

You know about http://www.japanese-auto.com

Now add: http://www.wheels-direct.com
Guaranteed lowest pricing on all wheels and tires to Premium TSC Club members. Not just match the price, but actually beat it....

Also: http://www.marinosautogroup.com/
Discounts on new and used cars
%18 Discount on Subaru and STI Parts
%15 Discount on all service
"Mod Friendly"

Also: http://www.brullenexhaust.com
We were the ones to get the relationship going between the Subaru Community and Brullen. Special Pricing for TSC Club members. As a matter of fact, a whole lot of TSC Club members cars were used as the templates for the current line of Brullen Exhaust offerings, from Legacy's to WRX's

More sponsors to come...

If you are serious about Cross Club Affiliations for all Canadian Clubs, at our next exec meeting I can bring this up.

First of all, do all Canadian Clubs want to merge into 1 huuuge group?

Let me know...

It should be known that Joe T is doing an exceptional job for our club. His work is paying huge dividends for the membership and our sponsors are all "Top of the Line"

For those wondering, PDM Racing is the one getting a AWD dyno.

Supposed to be distributing Shiv's Tec-II systems as well.

Give it up Markus/[Freeman]

That'd be kool and all, but logistically, I think it'd be a nightmare and stuff - trying to produce and run a National Canadian event and all. I mean, for those of you who organize major local events, it's alot of work.

Well, maybe in the future, one of these days we'll organize a Canada wide scooby event. Thad' be kool. We could all meet somewhere in Saskatchewan/Manitoba - in the middle!

But I think probably the best thing to do would be to keep the communications channel open between the various i-clubs across Canada.

I've heard about PDM's dyno aspirations for some time. Mind you none of it from PDM. The may not be the only one.
