Default do i need a new clutch?

next month i plan on getting a vishnu stage 0 and the FP turbo upgrade. with all this power, will i need a new clutch/flywheel? i plan on running ~15psi . my goal is to break into 12's, 12.99999999 is good enough for me. can i get that with the stock clutch? or do i need to upgrade to an aftermarket clutch? if so, can anyone give me some good clutches to look into? thanks alot in advance

You should be fine... i went 12.3@110.4 on my stock clutch and flywheel... it gave out shortly there after, but was fine for that run.

Depending on how you launch your car YMMV

I made 50 good drag passes on the stock clutch, and a BUNCH of street racing.

Likley lasted 150 launches.

On the 51st drag pass it started to slip... was fine to drive home, but would not hold really hard launches.

I made about 13 of those passes at the low 12 second power range.

Again, its all in how you drive and launch.

Plan on making one 12 sec run? That would be a shame and what about on the street. Don't you ever drop the hammer on the street?

If my clutch is still holding up yours will. I've gone to the track 5 times in 3 weeks ( 20 runs or more). I also drive my car hard on the street. I would have to say all together I've done between 50- 100, 5k launches scince buying my car. These cars aren't as wimpy as some would like you to believe.

It would be a shame to have a 12 sec WRX and never show anyone what you got.
