Default P0183 with walbro

I have a 04 WRX that I had put a TRE fuel pump in with no adverse effects (other then the tiny filter causing the car to die when it went under 1/4 tank) I got a brand new walbro for cheap so I put it in today. When I started my car I got a CEL so I checked with my accessport and I got

P0183 - Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit High Input

Any clue what that is?

Ok, I was wondering about that, I never disconnected the battery. I was on my way out the door when it happened so I just took another car. When I clear the code with the accessport do I have to reload base map and all that or does it just clear the active map. I have never cleared codes with it yet.

I got a chance to research it and it looks like that code pops up for a lot of people that change the pump. Never really found a good explanation why but it seems to stay gone once you clear it so here is hoping I didn't do something wrong.

Figured I'd bump this for future people searching.

I took out my stock fuel pump and inspected it, didn't disconnect the battery. Threw P0183 CEL when i started it up, cleared it. We'll see if it comes back, but it seems to be install related.
