Default Black silicon thingy between rear passenger side window and the frame almost fell off

As the title says, The black rubber or silicon thingy between the window and the window frame almost fell off. I own a 06 wrx and bought it as brand new 1 and a half yrs ago. It's at 26k and still has the basic powertrain warranty till 36k miles/ 3yrs. Is it gonna be covered with the warranty?

I think you will have to take it the dealer and have it inspected.

Chances are that the window was likely frozen to it and pulled the seal loose.

Or, instead of wasting a few hours of your life going to the dealer you could spend 30 seconds tucking it back in........

Have you had the windows tinted recently? Or did someone possibly try to break in the car?

If not, you should have no problem getting it covered.

Yeah, the top part is shaped to fit into the channel of metal above. Just press it back in.

Mine does this from time to time (Talking maybe once or twice in 6 months of owning the car)
