Oh well, you young folks would probably keep me up too late anyways.

Is anyone interested in going up to the Whistler Bike Park on the 18th or 19th of this month?

I'd love to come out on those days Kevin, but the last hockey game of our season is on the 20th. Good thing it's still hockey weather out there. All our loamy trails should be rock hard with all this wet/dry that's going on.

Timmay B, I need to take a poll on who is coming out for Crankworx in my "crew", and if said "crew" includes dirtbag riding buddies, or my life partner and our offspring. By life partner, I mean wife, and by offspring I mean little shredders.

Went to whistler this weekend. 1st time up in a few years. It was awesome.

The weather was crazy. I had rain, sun, and Hail all in one day haha. The trails were pretty wet and sketchy towards the end of the day.

I fell pretty hard once bruising my shoulder. But that's part of the game. Crank it up is a beauty.

CIU is a crazy trail. It's small enough to really push, but big and narrow enough to really eff' yourself. There are some big trees lining that trail. Not to mention the cliff into the creek off heart of darkness.

I'm waiting in north van nandos for my chicken sandwich andy appt with suspension therapy. Bought a 5lb bag of spikes at the home hardware next door too.

Some digging gon' be done soon.

Yeah, I don't think it's gonna be that easy to organize the condo... I'm just gonna stay up there with the wife Wed-Sun.

If you're riding any one of those days, let me know. I'll keep beers in the fridge!

Will do man!
The little shredders love Crankworx, so I have the wife looking into that week. Screw Mazatlan, I like to spend my vacation in Whistler.

That said, she's looking at the Aspens or Stoney Creek, basically the places along Northlands. If we're all diligent in keeping the beer cold and the fridge stocked, this could very well turn out to be an epic week of biking and celebration.

Now, where's the sun?!

Have him go to a good bike shop and get educated about commuter bikes first. Then look at the classifieds, or at the used bike shops aroud town..

Yup! We got it today! Tested it around, its pretty light and solid.

Do you guys know any other sites to look for used bikes except pinkbike and craigslist?

nsmb.com

Stick to there and pinkbike. Craigslist is the home of the stolen bike.

So, I fired up the building rig again last night, and made some final changes to my trail. It's not done, but it's ridable and a blast. She flows really well, and rewards those who hit the stunts with ballz.

The "step-up".

The "step-down".

Special thanks to Dakine for making the builder pack, and for roofers who invented the "shingle hammer", one of the best trail tools one can buy.

I'm out of here a bit early today and I'm heading back up. I need one large burm for the exit to the step down, and another small burm to guide the rider into a "dirt tray" jump that I'm working on.

Damn, I didn't realize that.. Something didn't seem right in the vid... I think it was Gwin's kit. Yeah, he wasn't wearing his black Trek jersey. I wonder if the bar average has gotten wider...

She's usually done by around 2pm or so? But she's not slow either. She's just not ready for Dirt Merchant, or Fade to black, or anything big or super technical..

I knew it was old as soon as I saw Minaar's bike. The Syndicate isn't powered by SRAM anymore, and they were talking about his Truvativ Boobar and I could see his red BoXXer
