Hmmm...

Don't want to upgrade to 15 inch? The 195/50/15 size would look good on that car.

Based on my stock 2nd Gen Legacy GT's tyre size of 205/55HR16 and working back to a 14" wheel I find the closest match to be a 205/70R14... only 1/2" larger diameter for the 14" wheel... However this doesn't mean that this size tyre will actually fit on a first generation Legacy.

What size tyres are you currently using on your '93 Legacy ?

WRX wheels are exceedingly heavy.. a rather clumsy sort of wheel.

The common 15" Alloy "Legacy L" wheels are very plentiful, reasonably strong and light weight although they are very much prone to corrosion, and even when they are cleaned up they aren't exactly "bling" type wheels.

Perhaps you chose to return to the 14" wheels because you wanted a softer ride, and preferred the larger sidewall ?

the largest tire you can put on is 17" 7.5" so i would say a 7" wide rim would be good. I don't know of anyone who makes a 14x7 rim however

i really really want to stick with the 14" wheels. from a past, very painful experience i had i do not wish to mod the car any more then i wish to. i had wrx rims with triple treds which i loved but swapped them for the 14 alloy rims with smalled tires. i miss the "stuffed" look though so would like more tread under the car
