So, if I wanted to use that splash screen, I would just save it to my Nuvi under the default filename???

You should be able to choose which splash screen you want to use after dropping the picture (name doesn't matter) into the default JPEG directory.

Settings --> Display --> Splash Screen (iirc.. for the 350 at least)

Take a straight on photo of the badge on the back of your car and I can see what I can do... kinda like the one in this album, but i'd need for it to be a straight on view: http://www.trucktrend.com/features/n...ter/index.html

Reason being i don't have that font :P

Hmm, so i've been trying but extracting the badge from that pic is a lot harder than I thought. I even looked around for a higher res pic (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3855902) but might need the help of someone with better photoshop skills (i'm quite the noob).

one more question, I have the nuvi 760, so this doesnt completely fill the screen: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=10624

anyway that you can format it to fit this screen? 480 x 272 pixels that is the screen res

thanks again

Can I request the very first picture minus the "Garmin" and "Nuvi" wording? I want to throw this on my TomTom.
