If the fuses are ok then I would check the light switch to make sure it is working as it should be. It makes a ground connection I believe, to turn on the lights.

i tried lookin into that but no luck... i even tried replacing bulbs but those don't light up... i noticed that the driver side has more than usual light output than the passenger when i turn on the headlights... also the high beams are dim, but are constantly on.. what is going on anyone??

Without a good wiring diagram and some testing done to see what area may be the source of the trouble it is hard to say. There may be a problem with the DRL module but that is just a guess. You may need to have a shop check the problem out.
