OMGHi2U zerosports 6 spd for factory 5 spd

there are always a few things that i keep my eyes
open for and this one of them..

the 6 spd set fits in 5 spd box..

anyone know what whp rating for this gear set?

it would be a waste of time to purchase & install to find out
that this gear set could not withstand the power that a factory
5 spd would...

the 6 speed case is much larger than the 5, to be able to fit an extra gear into a 5 speed case would mean that the gears would have to be narrower, thus prob weaker. there is a reason why nobody runs the zerosports 6 in a 5 box. if this was a feasable option why would so many people still be buying 6 speed conversions and ppg trannys etc. if you want a reliable tranny, go with something that has available parts, and there is a plethora of information on.

So you really want a tranny without reverse? That's exactly how that kit works, you get a 6MT with NO REVERSE.

Thats a nifty idea. The practicality is lacking, but i guess it has a weight advantage over the regular 6 speed?
